Was Fundamentally Broken
In 2021, our founder Vishakha Paynaik spent eight months renovating her parents' home in Mumbai. The contractors were unreliable, the costs ballooned without warning, and the final result looked nothing like what had been promised. She was not unusual — this was the standard experience.
BayaNest was founded to solve exactly that problem. Not with a better brochure, but with a fundamentally different structure: factory manufacturing instead of site improvisation, fixed-price contracts instead of open-ended quotes, and a dedicated project manager instead of a rotating cast of subcontractors.
Five years later, our conviction has not changed — a beautifully designed home should come with certainty, not anxiety. That remains the only thing we are building.
